Joseph P. Rufolo Scholarship

Joseph P. Rufolo was a 38-year postal veteran was Postmaster of Clark, Colonia and Rahway, NJ for eighteen years.

Joe served two terms as the New Jersey state president, as NAPUS National Postmaster Representative for 15 years and NAPUS National Vice President for the New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland area. Joe’s tireless dedication to the NAPUS organization is deeply missed, especially by the many Postmasters he helped across the nation.

Joe was instrumental in instituting the NJ NAPUS Scholarship for children and grandchildren of New Jersey Postmasters. Following his death in September 2002 the scholarship was renamed the Joseph P. Rufolo Scholarship in his honor.
